About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Shopify Web Designer & Front-End Developer who is passionate about website development, eCommerce, and modern AI-assisted development.

This is an entry-level role where you will work on Shopify stores, customize themes, implement designs, build front-end features, and use modern AI coding tools to improve development speed and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop responsive Shopify websites and storefronts.
- Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Convert Figma/design layouts into responsive Shopify pages.
- Develop and customize sections, templates, landing pages, product pages, collection pages, and other storefront components.
- Implement UI/UX improvements and CRO-focused features.
- Troubleshoot and fix front-end and Shopify theme issues.
- Optimize websites for performance, responsiveness, and usability.
- Work with senior developers and project managers to deliver Shopify projects.
- Use AI tools to assist with coding, debugging, research, documentation, and problem-solving.
- Maintain clean, organized, reusable, and maintainable code.

Required Skills
- 0–1 year of experience in web development or Shopify development.
- Basic to good knowledge of Shopify and Shopify themes.

- Good understanding of

- Understanding of responsive web design.
- Ability to understand and implement designs accurately.
- Valuable problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good knowledge of prompt writing / prompt engineering.
- Comfortable working with AI-assisted development tools.





AI & Modern Development Skills — Must Have The candidate should be comfortable using AI as part of their daily development workflow. Must have working knowledge or willingness to work with:

- OpenAI Codex
- Claude Code
- AI-assisted coding and debugging
- Writing effective development prompts
- Using AI to understand existing code
- Using AI for troubleshooting and optimization
- Reviewing and improving AI-generated code rather than blindly accepting it

We are looking for someone who understands that AI is a development assistant, not a replacement for understanding code.

Good to Have

- Experience with Shopify Online Store 2.0.
- Knowledge of Shopify JSON templates and sections.
- Basic knowledge of Git/GitHub.
- Basic understanding of SEO and website performance.
- Experience working with Figma.
- Knowledge of Shopify apps and third-party integrations.
- Basic understanding of CRO and eCommerce best practices.
