We are seeking an experienced Epic BI Consultant to support a large-scale healthcare transformation initiative involving migration from Cerner to Epic.

nThe ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in healthcare data systems, business intelligence, and reporting, with a strong understanding of Epics data model and reporting tools. This role will play a critical part in ensuring data continuity, reporting accuracy, and actionable insights during and after the migration.

nKey Responsibilities:

n

- Lead BI and reporting workstreams during Cerner to Epic migration.
n
- Analyze existing Cerner reports, dashboards, and data structures; map them to Epic equivalents.
n
- Design, develop, and optimize reports using Epic tools such as:
n
- Cogito
n
- Clarity
n
- Caboodle
n
- Radar dashboards
n
- Experience with Snowflake as Data Source
n
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
n
- Ensure data integrity, validation, and reconciliation between Cerner and Epic systems.
n
- Develop data migration validation frameworks and audit reports.
n
- Create and maintain documentation for BI solutions, data mappings, and report logic.
n
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations for improving reporting capabilities post-migration.
n
- Mentor junior analysts and BI developers.
n
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and go-live activities.
n

nRequired Skills & Qualifications:

n

n
- 5-10 years of overall IT experience with significant exposure to healthcare systems .
n
- Proven experience in Epic BI tools (Cogito , Clarity, Caboodle, Radar).
n
- Prior involvement in at least one full-cycle Cerner to Epic migration (preferred).
n
- Strong SQL and data warehousing(Snowflake ) expertise.
n
- Experience with ETL processes and data modeling.
n
- Deep understanding of healthcare data domains (clinical, financial, operational).
n
- Experience working with large hospital systems or healthcare enterprises
n
- Familiarity with interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR is a plus).
n
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
n
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
