We are looking for a technically proficient and detail-oriented Fire Protection Design Engineer,

The role offers an prospect to work across the complete fire protection design lifecycle, including system design, hydraulic calculations, technical documentation, BOQ preparation, statutory compliance, and coordination with execution and project teams.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing fire protection systems and a strong understanding of applicable NFPA, IS, TAC, NBC, and local fire authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities:-

- Design and develop fire protection systems including Hydrant, Sprinkler, Fire Alarm & Detection, and Fire Suppression systems.
- Prepare detailed layout drawings, piping isometrics, system schematics, and design documentation.
- Perform hydraulic calculations and ensure appropriate sizing of piping, pumps, valves, sprinklers, hydrants, and related equipment.
- Interpret project requirements, technical specifications, drawings, and applicable fire safety standards.
- Ensure design compliance with NFPA, IS Codes, TAC, NBC, and applicable local fire authority requirements.
- Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, tender documents, and other project-related documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, execution teams, and relevant authorities for technical clarifications and approvals.
- Support Fire NOC and TAC approval processes through technical documentation and authority coordination.
- Provide technical support to site and execution teams for design clarifications, site queries, modifications, and engineering changes.
- Participate in site surveys,



inspections, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities when required.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Procurement, Quality, Project Execution, and other internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Preferred Candidate Profile:-

- B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fire & Safety Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience in Fire Protection System Design.
- Hands-on experience with Hydrant, Sprinkler, Fire Alarm/Detection, or Suppression system design.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic calculations and fire protection engineering principles.
- Experience with fire protection drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and tender documentation.




- Exposure to Fire NOC/TAC approval processes will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, technical documentation, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and project execution teams.
