nResponsible for providingprofessional level accountingtasksassociated with allfinancial accounting matters for DBM Vircon companies.

nCore Responsibilities

n

n

n
1. Responsible for completeness and accuracy of DBM Vircon’s trial balance, company ledgers, journals, including reversing journals, lease accounting compliance and validity of entries
n
2. Perform balance sheet reconciliations
n
3. Handles foreign currency transactions revaluations
n
4. Recharge of intercompany transactions and reconciliations thereof
n
5. Treasury functions – prepare and process payment run, preparation of cash flow information, bank entry processing, bank reconciliations etc.
n
6. Coordination and payments of Tax, Superannuation, GST and other statutory payments as required
n
7. Comply with all internal/external audit requirements
n

1.



Have an understanding and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting standards, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or IGAAP
n
2. High level of Financial Accounting and analytical skills
n
3. Must be pro-active, goal oriented with excellent attention to detail, positive verbal and written communication skills and agile
n
4. Excellent customer focus and able to consistently meet DBM Vircon’s and its clients’ needs
n

nWork Experience

n

n
1. At least 5+ years previous experience working in a similar role
n
2. Experience in working in a Global company is an added advantage
n

nEducation/Training

n

n
1. Degree in Accounting
n
2. CPA, CA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage
n
