Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning & MIS

- Prepare monthly financial MIS, management reports and business dashboards.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and annual operating plans.
- Analyse actual performance against budget and identify key variances.
- Provide financial insights to management for business decision-making.
- Track revenue, gross margin, EBITDA and profitability by product / business segment.

2. Plant Finance & Costing

- Manage finance activities related to the manufacturing plant.
- Monitor manufacturing costs, overheads and cost drivers.
- Review BOM, product costing, material consumption and production variances .
- Analyse material price, yield, wastage and production variances.
- Support new product costing and pricing decisions.
- Work with Operations and SCM to identify cost-reduction opportunities.

3. Working Capital Management

- Monitor inventory, receivables and payables .
- Drive inventory ageing and working-capital reviews.
- Monitor customer collections and credit exposure.
- Coordinate with SCM and Procurement on vendor payment planning.




- Identify opportunities to improve cash conversion and working capital.

4. Financial Controls & Compliance

- Ensure appropriate financial controls across plant and business operations.
- Review processes for procurement, payments, inventory and expenses.
- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, tax and statutory requirements.
- Identify control gaps and drive corrective actions.

5. Business Finance Support

- Partner with Business Heads and functional leaders on financial decisions.
- Evaluate business cases, investments and cost implications.
- Support pricing decisions and customer profitability analysis.
- Provide financial analysis for new projects, products and customers.
- Support CAPEX planning and monitoring.

6. Accounting & Closing

- Ensure timely monthly and year-end financial closure.
- Review provisions, accruals, reconciliations and expense accounting.
- Coordinate with the Accounts team for accurate books and reporting.
- Ensure financial data is accurate and available within defined timelines.

Candidate Profile
- CA / CMA / MBA Finance preferred; alternatively, strong relevant finance experience.
- 7–12 years of relevant experience in finance, preferably in a manufacturing setting .
- Strong exposure to plant finance, costing and management reporting.
- Experience in inventory accounting, product costing and working capital .
- Strong Excel and MIS skills.
- ERP/SAP/Oracle/other ERP experience preferred.
- Good understanding of financial controls and statutory compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams.
