Role Description The Field Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City. The role involves installing, commissioning, and maintaining UPS systems, inverters, and batteries at customer locations, ensuring optimal performance of all power backup equipment.

Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing technical issues, performing troubleshooting and repairs, and carrying out scheduled preventive maintenance visits. The engineer will provide on-site technical support, resolve service requests in a timely manner, and clearly document service activities and reports.



The role also includes interacting with customers to understand their requirements, explain technical findings, provide basic user guidance, and uphold safety and quality standards during all field operations.

Qualifications

- Strong Field Service skills, including in office installation, commissioning, and equipment handling.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support for UPS systems, inverters, batteries, and related electrical/electronic equipment.
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance practices, inspection routines, and maintenance scheduling.
- Solid Customer Service skills, including clear communication, professional conduct, and problem-resolution capabilities.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering discipline.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Comfort with working in customer premises and traveling within Pune and nearby regions as needed.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices for electrical and power backup systems.
- Basic computer skills for documentation, reporting, and use of service management tools.
- Prior experience in power backup, UPS, or industrial electrical systems is an advantage.
