Job Summary

Vedara Technologies is looking for a Field Market Research & Sales Associate to help us understand customer needs, conduct market research, identify business opportunities, and build relationships with potential customers.

This role involves a combination of phone-based communication, market research, customer interaction, and on-ground field visits. The ideal candidate should be confident communicating with people, curious about businesses, comfortable asking questions, and capable of converting conversations into useful market insights and business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Contact potential customers and businesses through phone calls.
- Conduct on-ground visits and interact with businesses when required.
- Understand customer needs, problems, expectations, and business requirements.
- Conduct primary market research through calls, interviews, surveys, and field visits.
- Research competitors, their products/services, pricing, and market positioning.
- Identify potential customer segments and new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and market research findings.
- Collect, organize, and analyze information gathered from the market.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports summarizing activities, findings, and opportunities.
- Share meaningful market insights and recommendations with the team.




- Follow up with potential customers and maintain professional communication.
- Work toward assigned goals and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Collaborate with the team to improve customer understanding and business development strategies.

- Confident speaking with customers and business owners.
- Ability to communicate professionally over phone and in person.

- Ability to ask relevant questions and understand customer requirements.

- Willingness to travel locally for field visits.
- Ability to meet assigned goals and deadlines.

Language Requirements

Required:

- Gujarati
- Hindi

Preferred:

- Basic English

Field Travel Requirement The role may require local travel for market research, customer meetings, and business visits. Candidates should have or be able to arrange a two-wheeler for required field visits.

Eligible petrol and travel expenses for official field visits will be reimbursed by the company.

Compensation

₹8,000 – ₹12,000 per month
