Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Fashion Tailor with hands-on experience in customised garments, bridal wear, lehengas and Western wear.

The candidate should be confident in fabric draping, cutting, stitching, fitting and garment construction and should be able to develop customised garments according to individual measurements and designer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Stitch and develop customised / made-to-measure garments according to design requirements.
- Take and understand individual body measurements and fitting requirements.
- Perform fabric draping on mannequins/body forms to create desired silhouettes.
- Carry out accurate fabric cutting according to patterns, measurements and design specifications.
- Understand and work with Khakha / basic patterns.
- Stitch garments from pattern to finished garment with good accuracy and finishing.
- Work on Lehengas, Blouses, Bridal Gowns, Dresses, Jackets and Western Wear.
- Handle fitted and structured garments.
- Conduct trials and fittings and make necessary alterations.
- Make pattern, cutting and stitching adjustments based on fitting and design changes.
- Work with different fabrics, linings, interlinings and delicate materials.




- Coordinate with designers and pattern makers to develop samples and customised outfits.
- Ensure proper garment fit, finishing and overall quality.
- Complete garments according to required timelines.

Required Skills
- 1–3 years of experience as a Fashion Tailor / Designer Wear Tailor.
- Strong practical knowledge of cutting, stitching, draping and fitting.
- Experience in customised / made-to-measure garments.
- Valuable understanding of garment construction and body measurements.
- Ability to understand patterns, Khakha and design instructions.
- Experience with Bridal Wear, Lehenga, Blouse and Western Wear preferred.
- Ability to work with different types of fabrics.
- Good finishing and attention to detail.
- Ability to work closely with designers and pattern-making teams.
- Ability to handle design changes and fitting corrections independently.

Preferred Candidate Candidates with experience in a fashion designer studio, bridal boutique, designer label, customised clothing brand or premium occasion-wear setup will be preferred.
