We are looking for a Fashion Designer Intern who understands current fashion trends, styling, design aesthetics, and the Indian fashion market. This role is ideal for a fashion student who wants hands-on experience working with a growing fashion-tech startup.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Research upcoming fashion trends, styles, colours, fabrics, silhouettes, and seasonal collections.
- Assist in creating fashion concepts, mood boards, colour palettes, and collection ideas.
- Develop basic fashion sketches, illustrations, and design concepts.
- Research Indian ethnic, western, fusion, casual, occasion, and contemporary fashion.
- Help curate products and collections for the Blyft platform.
- Work with the content, social media, UI/UX, and marketing teams on fashion-related creatives and campaigns.
- Assist in styling concepts for product shoots, campaigns, social media, and promotional content.
- Identify emerging designers, boutiques, brands, and fashion trends.
- Support the team in categorising products based on style, occasion, season, trend, and customer preferences.
- Contribute ideas for festive, wedding, seasonal,



and trend-based collections.
- Assist with vendor/boutique interactions when fashion expertise is required.
- Maintain fashion research, references, inspiration boards, and trend reports.

Who We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, Fashion Communication, Styling, or a related field.
- Preferably a 3rd-year or final-year fashion student.
- Strong understanding of fashion, colours, styling, fabrics, and current trends.
- Good visual and creative sense.
- Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, Figma, or fashion illustration tools is an advantage.
- Ability to research trends through fashion publications, social media, runway collections, and marketplaces.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Candidates based in Hyderabad are preferred.

What You'll Gain You’ll work directly on a live fashion-tech product rather than only theoretical design assignments. The internship provides exposure to fashion research, digital commerce, product curation, campaigns, styling, vendor ecosystems, and building fashion experiences for real customers.

High-performing interns may also be considered for an extended role / full time opportunity with Blyft after the internship.
