Purpose/Objective

Head - Factory lead and oversee all aspects of factory operations in the precast industry by ensuring optimal production schedules, maintaining high safety and quality standards, and efficiently managing budgets, resources, and cross-functional coordination.

The Factory Head plays a strategic role in driving productivity, implementing process improvements, fostering team performance, and supporting business growth through operational excellence and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Strategic Execution: Design operational strategies and set measurable goals in line with project plans and business priorities.

Identify opportunities for current projects and prepare necessary proposals and budgets.

Factory Operations & Production Planning: Oversee day-to-day factory activities including production, scheduling, and logistics to meet business targets.

Develop and implement plant schedules aligned with client timelines and business plans.

Compliance Management: Ensure strict adherence to HSE regulations and foster a safety-first culture across the plant.

Conduct regular audits, trainings, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.

Resource Management & Budgeting: Prepare and monitor factory budgets ensuring cost efficiency and resource optimization.

Allocate manpower and material effectively to maintain smooth workflow.

Quality Control: Enforce quality control standards to ensure output meets specifications and customer expectations.

Process Improvement:



Drive process improvements and introduce new initiatives for operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with internal departments (Design, Procurement, Planning, Safety) for seamless execution.

Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.

Issue Resolution: Resolve plant-level issues swiftly including production delays, technical problems, and manpower concerns.

Implement root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring challenges.

Documentation & Reporting: Ensure timely reporting on plant KPIs, production status, quality audits, and resource utilization.

Present operational reports to senior management and propose actionable insights.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: B.

Tech degree in Engineering Work Experience: Minimum of 16 - 24 yrs of experience in precast
