We are seeking an experienced and responsible Factory Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our luxury furniture manufacturing unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production activities, supervising the workforce, coordinating material flow, and ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, productivity, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations Management

- Plan, organize, supervise, and monitor daily production activities to ensure smooth and timely operations.
- Manage production schedules and ensure targets are achieved within specified timelines.
- Monitor production flow and identify potential delays or operational issues.

Material & Inventory Management

- Monitor the movement and availability of raw materials, components, and finished products.
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely availability of required materials.
- Supervise the proper receiving, inspection, storage, handling, and dispatch of materials and finished goods.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and material movement.

Workforce Supervision

- Supervise, guide, and motivate factory workers and other production staff.
- Allocate work responsibilities based on production requirements and employee .
- Monitor workforce productivity, attendance, discipline, and overall performance.
- Ensure employees follow company policies, procedures, and production schedules.

Quality Control

- Maintain and enforce strict quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.




- Ensure that finished furniture meets the company's expectations for craftsmanship, finishing, durability, and luxury quality.
- Identify quality issues and coordinate corrective actions to minimize defects and rework.

Safety & Workplace Management

- Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and company safety standards.
- Identify and address potential safety hazards within the factory.
- Ensure proper handling and movement of materials to prevent accidents and damage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient factory environment.

Machinery & Equipment

- Ensure the proper operation, handling, and maintenance of machinery, tools, and equipment.
- Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance or repair requirements to management.
- Ensure workers use machinery and tools safely and correctly.

Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare and submit daily and weekly reports covering production, inventory, workforce performance, material usage, and operational issues.
- Maintain accurate production and operational records.
- Report delays, shortages, quality issues, breakdowns, and other concerns to management promptly.

Process Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve production processes, productivity, material utilization, and operational efficiency.




- Work closely with management to implement improvements and reduce wastage, delays, and unnecessary costs.
- Support the implementation of systems and procedures that improve overall factory performance.

Coordination with Management

- Coordinate closely with management regarding production planning, workforce requirements, material availability, and delivery schedules.
- Provide regular updates on factory operations and highlight issues requiring management attention.

Additional Responsibilities

- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.
- Support the company in achieving its production, quality, delivery, and operational objectives.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Strong experience in factory supervision or production management, preferably in furniture manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of production planning, material handling, inventory control, and quality management.
- Strong leadership and workforce management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and meet production deadlines.
- Positive problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding quality and finishing.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices and machinery handling.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience in luxury, custom-made, or high-end furniture manufacturing will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
