Academic – Curious Junior Programme

Role Purpose The Curious Junior Faculty is responsible for delivering engaging, interactive, and high-quality online learning sessions for students enrolled in the Curious Junior Programme.

The faculty will handle Booster Programme sessions designed to provide students with an enjoyable and impactful learning experience while creating awareness about the broader learning opportunities available through the Master Programme.

The role requires a combination of strong subject knowledge, excellent online teaching ability, attractive and expressive presentation, student engagement, and effective parent communication.

The faculty should be able to create curiosity among students, establish academic credibility, and demonstrate the value of continuing with the Master Programme through the quality of the learning experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Academic Delivery

· Conduct online sessions effectively, engaging students through interactive and engaging learning methods.

· Use stories, examples, demonstrations, activities, questions, quizzes, and practical applications to make learning enjoyable.

· Ensure that students understand the concepts rather than simply completing the syllabus.

· Address student doubts and encourage curiosity and questioning.

· Follow the prescribed curriculum, lesson plans, academic content, and teaching standards.

2. Engaging & Expressive Online Teaching

- Create a highly engaging and energetic virtual classroom setting.
- Use facial expressions, voice modulation, gestures, storytelling, questioning, humour where appropriate, and interactive activities to maintain student attention.
- Demonstrate robust camera presence and confidence while teaching.
- Make the sessions visually and verbally attractive to young learners.
- Avoid monotonous or purely lecture-based delivery.
- Adapt teaching techniques according to the age, learning level, and response of students.

3. Student Engagement & Curiosity Building

- Develop curiosity and interest in the subject among junior learners.
- Encourage students to ask questions, participate, experiment, and think independently.
- Create “learning moments” that make students look forward to subsequent sessions.
- Use relatable examples from everyday life to make academic concepts meaningful.
- Build a positive emotional connection with students while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Encourage students to explore concepts beyond the immediate lesson.

4. Parent-Facing Academic Presence

- Recognise that parents may attend, observe, or evaluate the quality of the sessions.
- Maintain a professional, confident, well-groomed, and presentable appearance during all online sessions.




- Communicate clearly and confidently with parents when required.
- Establish credibility through subject expertise, teaching quality, professionalism, and communication.
- Demonstrate the academic value delivered through the Curious Junior Programme.

5. Master Programme Awareness & Engagement

- Introduce and communicate the value of continuing the student's learning journey through the Master Programme where appropriate.
- Explain the academic progression from the Curious Junior learning experience to the Master Programme using organisation-approved information.
- Demonstrate how continued learning can provide greater depth, structured practice, academic support, and learning continuity.
- Create sufficient interest and curiosity among students and parents to explore the Master Programme.
- Communicate the programme perks in an informative and convincing manner without making unsupported promises.
- Direct detailed admission, pricing, or commercial queries to the appropriate business/admission team.

6. Presentation & Communication The faculty is expected to demonstrate:

7. Digital Learning Skills

- Effectively use the online learning platform and digital classroom tools.
- Use presentations, digital boards, animations, videos, quizzes, polls, and other available learning resources appropriately.
- Maintain a professional online setup, including appropriate lighting, background, audio, appearance, and camera positioning.
- Ensure that digital content is visually appealing and age-appropriate.
- Coordinate with the academic/content team for improvements to online learning content.

8. Feedback & Continuous Improvement

- Review student and parent feedback regularly.
- Identify areas requiring improvement in teaching style, engagement, presentation, and communication.
- Participate in faculty training and calibration programmes.
- Implement feedback received from Academic Managers and faculty quality teams.
- Continuously improve online presentation and engagement techniques.

Qualification & Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in the relevant subject.
- Prior teaching experience preferred.
- Experience in online teaching will be an advantage.
- Experience teaching junior/school-level students preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to engage students in an online environment.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
