Role Description The Export Manager is responsible for overseeing and expanding Truevet Animal Nutrition’s international business operations. This on-site role, based in Srinagar, includes managing export documentation, coordinating logistics and shipments, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and standards.

The Export

Manager will build and maintain relationships with overseas distributors and clients, negotiate contracts and pricing, and monitor market trends in target regions. Daily tasks include collaborating with internal teams (sales, production, finance, and quality), forecasting demand, planning inventory for export markets, and resolving any issues related to delivery, payment, or regulatory requirements.



This role requires proactive communication, structured planning, and a robust focus on customer satisfaction and long-term business growth.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of export processes, international trade regulations, and documentation (e.g., incoterms, export licenses, customs procedures).
- Experience in international sales, client relationship management, and market development within a B2B environment, preferably in animal nutrition or related industries.
- Skills in logistics coordination, supply chain planning, and collaboration with freight forwarders and other external partners.
- Proficiency in business communication, negotiation, and contract management with international stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a master’s degree or specialized export certification is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and risk management.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional foreign language skills are a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Srinagar, travel internationally as required, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience working with agro, animal health, or nutrition products is highly beneficial.
