We are looking for an ERP & MIS / Business Systems Specialist to improve our ERP utilisation, reporting, data management and process automation.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse the existing ERP and identify opportunities to improve its utilisation and functionality.
- Design and develop query-based and customised ERP reports .
- Write and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, views, triggers and database reports .
- Develop reports using Crystal Reports .
- Manage and maintain the MSSQL database , including data integrity, access, backups and troubleshooting.
- Convert raw ERP/database data into structured and automated Excel MIS reports .
- Use Advanced Excel, Power Query, Pivot Tables and VBA/macros to eliminate repetitive manual reporting.
- Develop or support .NET/C# based applications and utilities where required.
- Work with ERP vendors and internal teams on system customisation, enhancements and troubleshooting.
- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle where applicable — requirement gathering, development, testing, implementation and support.
- Improve the overall information flow from ERP → Database → Reporting → Management .

Technical Skills

Essential:

- Solid SQL / Microsoft SQL Server
- Database concepts and hands-on experience with tables, stored procedures, views and triggers
- ERP reporting / customisation
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- MIS and data automation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred / Good to Have:

- C# / .NET
- Crystal Reports
- Power Query / Power BI
- VBA / Excel Macros
- SQL Server Database Administration
- Cloud database/server experience




- ERP/CRM implementation or support
- Knowledge of Inventory, Sales, Purchase and Accounts processes
- API/integration or Python experience

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be someone who can understand both business requirements and the technology behind them . You should be comfortable looking at an existing process and identifying:

What data is being captured → Where it is stored → How it can be queried → How the process can be automated → How management should receive the final information.

Strong communication skills, analytical ability, ownership and the ability to deliver within timelines are essential.

Experience

2 years + of relevant experience in ERP, SQL/database development, MIS, business systems, reporting or application development.

Candidates with 1–2+ years of hands-on experience in C#, SQL Server and Crystal Reports will be preferred.

Important

This is not a conventional MIS/data-entry role .
