We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented English Subject Matter Expert (SME) to develop, review, and validate high-quality academic content.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and review English academic content for school students.
- Create and validate questions, answers, explanations, assessments, worksheets, and study materials.
- Ensure content is accurate, age-appropriate, curriculum-aligned, and easy to understand.
- Review existing educational content and identify grammatical, factual, conceptual, language, and formatting errors.
- Prepare questions of varying difficulty levels, including objective, subjective, analytical, comprehension-based, and application-based questions.
- Create and review content covering Grammar, Reading Comprehension, Writing Skills, Literature, Vocabulary, and Language Usage.
- Ensure alignment with prescribed school curricula, textbooks, learning objectives, and examination patterns.
- Review comprehension passages, questions, answers, explanations, and literary content for accuracy and clarity.
- Ensure proper usage of grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, punctuation, spelling, and language conventions.
- Maintain consistency in terminology, writing style, formatting, facts, and content standards.
- Participate in content audits, quality checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated with changes in curriculum, educational practices, assessment patterns, and relevant developments in English education.





Required Skills & Preferred Experience
- Strong command of English Language and Literature.
- Excellent knowledge of English grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, writing, and language skills.
- Ability to identify grammatical, factual, conceptual, and contextual errors.
- Strong proofreading and editing skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good understanding of school-level English education and assessment practices.
- Ability to frame explicit, meaningful, and age-appropriate questions and explanations.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and basic digital content tools.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, English Literature, Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or teaching experience is an advantage for school-focused roles.
- Experience in teaching, academic content development, question-paper creation, curriculum development, textbook publishing, proofreading/editing, or educational technology (EdTech).
- Experience working with NCERT/CBSE curricula is an advantage.
