Engineering Graduate – Manufacturing to International Sales, Japan (JLPT N3 Mandatory)

About the Opportunity

MXC Ignite is hiring on behalf of a Japanese manufacturing company based in Gifu Prefecture, Japan.

This role is designed for engineering graduates who want to build a long-term career in Japan. You'll start by learning the company's products and production process firsthand on the manufacturing floor. After about one year, you'll move into International Sales and become the key contact point between the company and its customers in India.

Career Path

Phase 1 – Manufacturing (first year)

- Work in finishing operations within the production process
- Understand the company's products, quality standards, and manufacturing workflow
- Learn Japanese workplace practices and business culture on the job

Phase 2 – International Sales (after approximately one year)

- Serve as the contact point for customers in India
- Support communication between the Japanese team and Indian clients
- Contribute to business development and customer relationships for the India market

Mandatory Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical field
- Japanese language proficiency of JLPT N3 or above (certificate required)
- Willingness to work in manufacturing during the first year

Preferred

- JLPT N2
- Positive communication skills in English
- Strong interest in building a long-term career in Japan

Salary Range

- JPY 3.4M – 3.8M per year (approx.



₹21–23 lakh per annum)
- Final salary is based on qualifications, Japanese proficiency, and interview performance
- The INR figure is approximate and varies with exchange rates
