We're hiring an Automation QA Engineer to own quality across our Shopify apps, spanning API routes, a data sync pipeline, and a complex category tree UI.

You'll define and maintain our test strategy across unit, integration, and E2E layers, and you'll be comfortable with the harder failure modes of async systems: retries, out-of-order events, and partial syncs. Define and evolve test strategy across unit, integration, and E2E layers Write unit and integration tests in TypeScript using Vitest or Jest Automate REST and GraphQL API testing, including edge cases and error handling Validate complex category tree UI behaviour 4+ years of QA in a TypeScript/Node.js workplace ~ REST and GraphQL API testing experience ~ Experience testing webhooks, queues, or other async systems ~ Ownership of bug tracking and regression testing Playwright or Cypress for Remix/React apps Testing Shopify Admin UI or embedded apps
