Role & responsibilities

Product Development & Project Management

- New product development projects from concept to mass production.
- Review customer drawings, specifications, schematics, and technical requirements.
- Ensure timely completion of prototype, pilot build, validation, and SOP activities.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for current programs.

Wiring Harness Design & Engineering

- Study and interpret wiring harness drawings, electrical schematics, and customer standards.
- Prepare BOMs, wiring layouts, assembly drawings, cutting charts, and process documentation.
- Select appropriate wires, terminals, connectors, tapes, sleeves, grommets, and protective components.
- Support ECN (Engineering Change Notice) and PCN implementation activities.

Prototype Development & Validation

- Coordinate prototype manufacturing and sample submissions.
- Support electrical, mechanical, and functional validation testing.
- Monitor trial builds and pilot production activities.




- Ensure customer requirements are met before production release.

APQP - PPAP - Quality Documentation

- Prepare and review:

- DFMEA

- PFMEA

- Control Plans

- Process Flow Charts

- PPAP Documents

- Work Instructions
- Ensure customer PPAP submissions are completed on time.

Customer & Cross Functional Coordination

- Act as the primary contact for customers during development stages.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, Tooling, SCM, and Suppliers.
- Attend technical reviews, design discussions, and customer audits.

Preferred candidate profile

Education:

- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Automobile, Mechatronics Engineering.
- Certification in APQP, PPAP, Core Tools, or Project Management is an added advantage.

Experience: 02+ years of experience in Wiring Harness Manufacturing / Automotive / EV Industry.

- Minimum 2 years of experience handling NPD projects.
