This contractor runs multiple active infrastructure projects across western India and has relied on site engineers and a thin corporate HR team to handle workplace disputes and grievances as they come up. What the role covers

- Investigate and resolve grievances raised by site and corporate staff
- Advise project managers and site supervisors on handling disciplinary matters
- Maintain consistent, well-documented case files and resolution records
- Interpret HR policy and labour-law requirements for site-specific situations
- Track recurring issues across sites and flag patterns to HR leadership
- Support exit interviews and separation cases where relations issues are involved

What we expect you to bring

- 3 to 8 years in employee relations, HR generalist,



or industrial relations work
- Solid grounding in Indian labour law, particularly as it applies to contract and site labour
- Comfort travelling periodically to project sites when a case needs it
- Calm, fair judgement when handling disputes between employees and supervisors

Helpful extras

- Prior employee-relations experience in construction, infrastructure, or manufacturing
- Exposure to unionised or blue-collar workforces
- A postgraduate qualification in HR, labour law, or industrial relations
