Job Title: Showroom Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Type: Full-time / Part time Job Purpose:

The Showroom Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted operation, safety, and visual excellence of the showroom’s electrical systems. This role focuses on maintaining premium display lighting, servicing distribution boards, troubleshooting power fixtures, and executing preventative maintenance schedules to maximize energy efficiency and prevent business downtime. Key Responsibilities:

- Lighting Upkeep & Aesthetics: Routinely inspect, adjust, and replace LED track lights, ambient spotlights, accent display lighting, and illuminated outdoor signage to ensure merchandise is perfectly showcased.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct periodic checks on electrical distribution boards, Main Circuit Breakers (MCBs), Residual Current Devices (RCDs), and wiring connections to identify overheating or potential hazards.
- HVAC & Appliance Support: Assist in servicing, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting of air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and backup power generators.
- Safety & Compliance: Inspect and maintain emergency exit signs, backup emergency lighting,



and fire alarm systems in full compliance with local safety regulations.
- Routine Repairs: Fix or replace faulty power outlets, switches, communication data lines, and display-screen wiring across the showroom floor and billing counters.
- Inventory & Reporting: Maintain an inventory of electrical spares (bulbs, fuses, breakers) and log all maintenance activities, repairs, and energy consumption metrics.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Education: ITI Certificate, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent vocational training.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in commercial electrical maintenance, preferably in retail showrooms, hotels, or commercial malls.
- Certifications: Valid electrician license or wireman competency certificate issued by the state government.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of single-phase and three-phase wiring, commercial lighting layouts, load calculations, and electrical safety codes.
- Soft Skills: Quick troubleshooting ability, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor suitable for working around customers during showroom hours.

Pay: ₹11,248.25 - ₹25,000.00 per month
