We are hiring: E-commerce Ads Specialist

Location: Chennai or Bengaluru

Experience: 3–4 years

Work mode: Work from office The Indus Valley is looking for an E-commerce Ads Specialist with strong, hands-on experience in marketplace advertising.

This role is for someone who has managed large advertising budgets, owned revenue targets and understands how to scale performance profitably across marketplaces.

Key responsibilities

Plan, execute and optimise advertising campaigns across Amazon, Flipkart and other marketplaces

Manage monthly advertising budgets of ₹50 lakh or more

Own revenue, ROAS, ACOS and overall campaign-performance targets

Build advertising strategies for product launches, category growth and seasonal events

Manage campaign structure, keyword strategy, bidding, budgets and product-

level allocation

Identify opportunities to scale high-performing products and improve underperforming campaigns

Work closely with the e-commerce, category, creative and inventory teams

Ensure advertising plans are aligned with stock availability, pricing, promotions and business targets

Analyse search terms, competitor activity, conversion rates and category trends





Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with clear insights and action plans

Identify gaps early and take ownership of corrective action

What we are looking for

3–4 years of hands-on experience in marketplace advertising

Experience working with a D2C, e-commerce or consumer brand

Proven experience managing monthly advertising budgets above ₹50 lakh

Writing

Strong understanding of Amazon Ads and Flipkart Ads

Experience owning revenue and performance targets

Strong command of metrics such as ACOS, ROAS, TACOS, CTR, conversion rate and impression share

Valuable analytical skills and comfort working with large datasets

Ability to move fast, experiment and make data-backed decisions

Strong ownership and a go-getter attitude
