We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Engineer to design, develop, and deliver scalable, cloud-native applications across the full technology stack. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#/.NET Core, modern front-end frameworks, relational and non-relational databases, cloud integration services, CI/CD, observability, and production support.

The role requires end-to-end ownership of solutions—from requirements analysis and architecture through development, testing, deployment, and production operations. The successful candidate will also provide technical leadership through code reviews, architectural guidance, engineering best practices, and mentoring.

Experience with either Microsoft Azure or AWS is required, along with the flexibility to work in shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deliver RESTful and/or event-driven back-end APIs using C#/.NET Core.
- Integrate applications with cloud services such as Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, or equivalent AWS services including Amazon API Gateway, AWS Lambda, Amazon SQS, and SNS.
- Own database design, query optimisation, indexing, performance tuning, and production migrations for PostgreSQL and other relational databases.
- Work with managed database platforms such as Azure SQL, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, or Amazon RDS.
- Design and implement solutions using at least one non-relational database such as Cosmos DB, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
- Build and maintain production-grade front-end applications using Vue.js, React, Angular, or Blazor.
- Develop responsive and high-performing user interfaces using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Design and implement end-to-end integration solutions using Azure Integration Services, including API Management, Service Bus, Logic Apps, and Event Grid, or AWS equivalents such as EventBridge, Step Functions, and AppFlow.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code using technologies such as Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation.




- Establish and maintain solid engineering practices across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop automated tests using xUnit, NUnit, Azure Test Plans, or equivalent frameworks, with C#/.NET Core test projects as the standard for back-end testing.
- Diagnose and resolve application and cloud infrastructure issues using telemetry, logs, distributed tracing, and performance metrics.
- Work with monitoring and observability platforms such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, AWS CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, and OpenTelemetry.
- Analyse business and technical requirements, perform gap-fit assessments, and recommend scalable cloud-native solutions.
- Take complete ownership of features from requirement gathering through architecture, development, deployment, and production support.
- Make appropriate architectural and engineering trade-offs across the full stack while maintaining C#/.NET Core as the primary back-end technology.
- Conduct meaningful code reviews and ensure adherence to coding, security, performance, and engineering quality standards.
- Guide architectural decisions and mentor engineers on technical design and development best practices.
- Operate with a strong DevOps mindset, owning observability, incident response, application reliability, and production health.
- Communicate technical decisions clearly to engineering teams, business stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate with developers and stakeholders to ensure solutions are delivered on time and meet agreed quality standards.

Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in C# and .NET Core development.
- Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and/or event-driven architectures.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud platforms.




- Hands-on knowledge of cloud integration and messaging services such as Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Event Grid, or equivalent AWS services.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including database design, query optimisation, indexing, performance tuning, and production migrations.
- Experience with managed relational databases such as Azure SQL, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, or Amazon RDS.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with at least one NoSQL/non-relational database, such as Cosmos DB, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
- Strong front-end development experience using at least one modern framework such as Vue.js, React, Angular, or Blazor.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and browser performance optimisation.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise integration solutions using Azure Integration Services or equivalent AWS technologies.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, release management, and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps or AWS services.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation.
- Strong understanding of automated testing across unit, integration, and end-to-end levels.
- Experience with xUnit, NUnit, or similar testing frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with application monitoring, observability, logging, distributed tracing, and production troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of cloud-native architecture, scalability, reliability, security, and performance best practices.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and perform effective gap-fit analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to take end-to-end ownership of complex features and applications.
- Experience leading technical discussions, conducting code reviews, and mentoring engineering teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional engineering environment.
