Role Description The Desktop Support Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for providing hands-on technical support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and related peripherals, ensuring minimal downtime for users. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, performing routine maintenance, configuring new systems, and installing updates and patches.





The engineer will respond to support tickets, document solutions, and escalate complex issues when needed, while collaborating with IT team members to maintain secure and efficient workstation environments.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in desktop computers and computer hardware, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Candidates should possess solid technical support and troubleshooting skills for resolving user issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess experience with printer support, including setup, connectivity, and ongoing maintenance.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS), basic networking concepts, and common office productivity tools.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications, or similar credentials are beneficial.
- Strong customer service orientation, clear communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced on-site environment.
- Prior experience in an IT support or desktop support role, ideally in a corporate setting, is an advantage.
