Design Engineer – Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil / Environmental / Mechanical Engineering

Job Responsibilities

- Design and prepare engineering drawings for Sewage Treatment Plants (STP).
- Prepare process flow diagrams (PFD), layouts, equipment layouts, piping layouts and detailed drawings.
- Perform STP design calculations including hydraulic, process and equipment sizing.
- Prepare BOQ, quantity estimation, technical specifications and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors and site/project teams.
- Review technical specifications, tender documents and project requirements.
- Prepare and review GA drawings, shop drawings and as-built drawings.
- Select and coordinate requirements for STP equipment such as pumps, blowers, tanks, screens, clarifiers, filters and related systems.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable project specifications, standards and statutory requirements.




- Provide technical support during execution and resolve design-related site issues.
- Maintain design documents, revisions and technical records.

Required Skills

- Minimum 2-4 years of relevant STP design experience.
- Good knowledge of STP treatment processes and wastewater engineering.
- Experience in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Knowledge of BOQ, estimation and quantity take-off.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Positive coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work with consultants, vendors and project/site teams.

Preferred

- Experience in residential, commercial or infrastructure STP projects.
- Knowledge of MBBR, SBR, MBR or other STP treatment technologies.
- Knowledge of relevant environmental/water-treatment standards and regulations.
