Urgent Opening – DESIGN ENGINEER (R&D;) | Rajkot

We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer to join our R&D; team! If you have a strong background in mechanical machine design, sheet metal development, and engineering change management, we want to hear from you.

Role Overview

Position: Design Engineer – R&D;

Experience: 2–5 Years (Experience in CNC / VMC / Industrial Machinery preferred)

Qualification: BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Location: Rajkot

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

Design & Modifications: Execute design revisions for machine parts, telescopic components, coolant tanks, conveyors, and sheet metal guarding.

Documentation & BOM: Maintain accurate 2D/3D CAD models, update Bill of Materials (BOM), and handle engineering change records (IWR).

Feedback Validation: Process and validate technical feedback from Assembly, Sales, Service, and Quality teams.

Vendor & Inventory Adaptation: Modify designs to accommodate alternate bought-out components and optimize in-stock inventory.

Customer Interaction: Visit customer sites when required to gather improvement feedback and map long-term machine enhancements.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with PPC, Production, Purchase,



and Quality teams for smooth implementation of revised drawings.

Candidate Requirements

Solid knowledge of Machine Design and Mechanical Engineering fundamentals.

Practical exposure to Sheet Metal Design, Machine Guarding, Coolant Systems, and Conveyors.

Expertise in 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and BOM updates.

Solid cross-functional coordination, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Flexibility to travel for customer site visits when necessary.
