- Develop and modify 2D & 3D mechanical designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing, fabrication and assembly drawings.
- Create 3D models, layouts, and assemblies as per project requirements.
- Convert concepts and customer/project requirements into detailed engineering drawings.
- Coordinate with Production, Projects, Purchase and other departments for design execution.
- Ensure designs comply with required specifications, dimensions and manufacturing feasibility.
- Review drawings and make necessary design modifications based on production/project feedback.
- Prepare and maintain BOMs and engineering documentation.
- Provide technical support during manufacturing and resolve design-related issues.
- Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions and design documents.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Good knowledge of mechanical design, fabrication and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of sheet metal, MS/SS fabrication and mechanical assemblies will be an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Positive understanding of dimensions, tolerances and material specifications.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple design requirements.
Qualification Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
