Role Summary

Farwood Interior Ltd is looking for freshers to join our Design Team as Design Engineers – Interior Detailing.

The role involves learning and preparing 2D AutoCAD shop drawings, cutting lists, and MRFs for residential and commercial interior projects under the guidance of senior design engineers.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare detailed 2D shop drawings in AutoCAD for:

o Kitchens o Wardrobes o Cots / Beds o TV Units o Ceiling & Wall Paneling o Joinery Details o Other interior furniture and components

· Learn and prepare cutting lists and Material Requisition Forms (MRF).

· Understand architectural drawings and convert them into detailed shop drawings.

· Coordinate with senior designers, production and site teams.

· Revise and update drawings based on comments and project requirements.

· Follow company drawing standards and quality requirements.

· Learn interior construction, joinery details, materials and hardware.

Technical Skills Required

· AutoCAD – Basic to good knowledge required.

· Excel – Basic knowledge required.

· Knowledge of IMOS / PYTHA / SAP will be an added advantage.





· Basic understanding of interior detailing and joinery.

· Ability to read and understand architectural drawings.

· Willingness to learn interior shop drawing and production detailing.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must have completed any one of the following:

· Diploma in Interior Design

· Diploma in Architecture

· ITI – Draughtsman (Civil / Mechanical)

Selected candidates will receive practical exposure and training in:

- Interior shop drawings
- Joinery detailing
- Cutting lists
- MRF preparation
- Production drawing standards
- Site and production coordination
- IMOS / PYTHA-based detailing
- Interior materials and hardware

Salary ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month, based on qualification, AutoCAD knowledge and interview performance.

Salary can be revised based on performance and experience after joining.
