Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager – Accounts & Finance to manage accounting, costing, taxation, statutory compliance, working capital, inventory accounting, MIS and financial analysis activities. The candidate will work closely with Finance, SCM, Operations, Sales and other departments to ensure timely closure of accounting and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and review monthly cost sheets, costing, margin analysis and variance analysis.
- Handle GST, TDS and Income Tax compliance, including statutory notices and coordination with consultants.
- Review General Ledger (GL) accounts and identify unusual, irregular or ad-hoc transactions.
- Support internal and statutory audits by providing data, schedules, explanations and supporting documents.
- Manage inventory valuation, inventory ageing, stock reconciliation and monthly stock audit statements.
- Monitor working capital, including receivables, payables, advances, inventory and cash flow.
- Follow up on customer receivables, billing, outstanding advances and settlements.
- Coordinate with SCM for pending invoices, vendor advances and timely accounting of outstanding items.




- Review agreements, contracts and work orders for appropriate GST and TDS applicability.
- Coordinate with banks for Bank Guarantees (BGs), term loans, renewals and documentation.
- Prepare and review MIS, financial analysis, costing and variance reports for management.
- Coordinate with Finance, SCM, Operations, Sales, Stores and other departments for timely closure of financial activities.
- Handle government incentives and subsidy-related matters, including documentation, applications, coordination with authorities and claim follow-up.
- Ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly and annual statutory compliances.

Desired Candidate Profile

- CA Inter / CMA / MBA Finance / M.Com / equivalent qualification preferred.
- 8–15 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
- Robust experience in manufacturing costing, inventory accounting and working capital management.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and statutory compliance.
- Experience in MIS, financial analysis, variance analysis and management reporting.
- Hands-on experience in audit coordination, GL review, reconciliation and accounting controls.
- Exposure to banking activities, BGs and term loans will be an advantage.
- Pharma / manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, coordination and communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
