We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist specializing in Time Series Forecasting to join our IT Services team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage advanced analytical techniques to predict future trends and support strategic decision-making across our supply chain and inventory operations. Your expertise will be essential in transforming complex historical data into actionable insights, directly impacting demand planning and operational efficiency within the organization.

Responsibilities

- Develop and deploy robust time series forecasting models using advanced algorithms to predict demand, inventory levels, and supply chain metrics.
- Utilize Python libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, and statsmodels to clean, process, and analyze large datasets for pattern recognition.
- Design and implement deep learning architectures, including LSTM and RNN networks, to handle complex temporal dependencies in data.
- Manage the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, ensuring model versioning, tracking, and deployment through tools like MLflow.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate forecasting solutions into existing supply chain analytics platforms.
- Continuously evaluate model performance and refine algorithms to improve accuracy and adapt to changing market conditions.

Requirements

Requirements:

- Possess 3 to 5 years of professional experience in data science, with a specific focus on time series analysis and forecasting.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Python programming and robust knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Have hands-on experience with key machine learning libraries including pandas, scikit-learn, and statsmodels.
- Show proven capability in building and training deep learning models, specifically Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) and Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN).
- Understand the principles of demand forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain analytics.
- Experience with model management tools like MLflow is highly desirable.
- Hold a degree or certification relevant to Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
