ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Data Science Intern , you will assist in collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting data to support data-driven solutions. You will gain practical exposure to Python, data analysis, statistics, data visualization, machine learning, predictive modeling, and data science workflows.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist in collecting, cleaning, transforming, and preparing datasets for analysis.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Use Python and data science libraries to analyze structured and unstructured data.
- Assist in developing and evaluating machine learning models.
- Apply basic statistical techniques to understand and interpret datasets.
- Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate data insights effectively.
- Work with datasets from different sources and identify data-quality issues.
- Assist in feature engineering and data preprocessing for machine learning projects.
- Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and techniques.
- Identify, troubleshoot,



and resolve data-processing and analysis issues.
- Document analysis processes, findings, methodologies, and project results.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and other team members.
- Use Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
- Participate in project reviews and implement technical feedback.

ELIGIBILITY

- Open to applicants from all educational and professional backgrounds.
- Strong interest in data science, analytics, statistics, and machine learning.
- Willingness to learn, experiment, and work on practical data science projects.
- Basic programming and logical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to meet project deadlines and implement feedback.
- Availability for a three-month, full-time remote internship.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Basic knowledge of Python or another programming language.
- Understanding of basic data science and statistical concepts.
- Familiarity with NumPy and Pandas is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of data visualization using Matplotlib, Seaborn, or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts is preferred.
- Familiarity with Scikit-learn is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and databases is preferred.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub is preferred.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Clear communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
