About the Role

Britannica Overseas Education is looking for a Data Mining Executive who can collect, extract, analyze, and organize data from websites, online databases, search engines, and other digital sources.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in data mining, web scraping, online research, and coding-based data extraction.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect and extract data from websites, online platforms, and databases.
- Perform data mining using coding, web scraping, and other data extraction techniques.
- Research and identify relevant online sources for required information.
- Develop and use scripts/tools for automated data collection.
- Extract and organize large volumes of online data.
- Clean, verify, and structure collected data for business use.
- Work with Excel, CSV, JSON, APIs, and database-ready datasets.
- Automate repetitive data collection and research activities.
- Monitor and update data sources regularly.
- Identify and resolve data quality and extraction issues.
- Maintain accurate and organized databases and records.

Required Skills




- Minimum 1 year of experience in Data Mining, Web Scraping, Data Extraction, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of Python or another programming language.
- Practical experience with web scraping and data extraction.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JSON, APIs, and website structures.
- Experience with tools such as BeautifulSoup, Selenium, Scrapy, Requests, or Playwright is preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
- Strong online research and analytical skills.
- Good problem-solving and data-handling abilities.
- Ability to work with large datasets.

Qualification Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Candidates with robust practical experience in data mining, web scraping, and online data extraction will also be considered.
