Data Governance Manager

We are looking for an experienced Data Governance Manager with strong expertise in data governance, data quality, Microsoft Purview, Azure, and real estate data management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead data governance programs and governance teams.

- Define and implement data governance frameworks and policies.

- Manage data catalog, glossary, lineage, metadata, and data quality.

- Establish data quality rules, remediation processes, and governance KPIs.

- Implement data classification, PII identification, RBAC/ABAC, DLP, and security controls.

- Govern Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and MongoDB/NoSQL data environments.

- Manage third-party consumer, demographic, and geolocation data governance.

- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders on governance initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with applicable privacy and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

- 7+ years of Data Governance / Data Management / Data Quality experience.

- 2+ years leading governance programs or teams.

- Hands-on Microsoft Purview experience.

- Azure and Microsoft Fabric.

- MongoDB / NoSQL governance.

- Data Catalog, Data Lineage, Metadata, and Data Quality.

- PII, Data Classification, RBAC/ABAC, Encryption, and DLP.





- Real Estate data experience is mandatory.

- Experience with MLS, Public Records, Tax Assessor, Deed/Title, Valuation, and Transaction data.

- Knowledge of NAR, MLS Grid, and RESO Data Dictionary.

- Understanding of CCPA/CPRA, GLBA, and FCRA.

Preferred Skills

- Microsoft certifications / DAMA CDMP.

- MDM and Data Quality frameworks.

- AI/ML Governance.

- Real Estate, Mortgage, or Financial Services experience.

- Executive reporting, governance maturity, and risk management.

Candidate Requirements

- Robust leadership and stakeholder management skills.

- Proven experience implementing enterprise data governance programs.

- Strong hands-on Microsoft Purview experience.

- Candidates with direct real estate data governance experience should apply.

- Immediate joiners preferred.

- Candidates with a maximum 15-day notice period should apply.

Pay: ₹120,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate

- Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
