We are looking for a Data Analyst Intern who can help us build strong reporting, analytics, and data systems across the business.

Role Description

As a Data Analyst Intern, you will work closely with the business, operations, underwriting, collections, and product teams to analyze data, create dashboards, identify trends, and support decision-making.

This is a hands-on role suitable for someone who is comfortable working with data, enjoys solving business problems, and wants exposure to the fintech and digital lending industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and maintain business dashboards using Metabase / BI tools
- Write SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze data from internal databases
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management
- Analyze customer journey funnels, drop-offs, approvals, disbursals, repayments, and collections
- Track key business metrics such as lead conversion, KYC completion, loan approval rate, disbursal rate, repayment behavior, DPD, and collection efficiency
- Work with operations and business teams to identify process gaps and improvement areas
- Support marketing attribution analysis across campaigns, affiliates, and UTM sources
- Assist in portfolio analysis, borrower segmentation, and risk trend identification
- Use Excel / Google Sheets for quick analysis, reconciliations, and reporting
- Use Python where required for data cleaning, automation, and deeper analysis
- Help improve data quality by identifying missing, incorrect, or inconsistent data
- Convert business requirements into clear reports, dashboards, and actionable insights

Required Skills





- Strong working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL
- Familiarity with Metabase or any BI/dashboarding tool
- Basic knowledge of Python for data analysis is preferred
- Understanding of data cleaning, filtering, joins, aggregations, and reporting
- Ability to work with large datasets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Valuable communication skills and ability to explain insights clearly
- Attention to detail and comfort with numbers
- Willingness to work from office in Udyog Vihar Phase 4, Gurugram

Good to Have

- Prior internship or project experience in analytics
- Experience with Python libraries such as Pandas / NumPy
- Basic understanding of fintech, lending, credit, or collections
- Familiarity with dashboards, cohort analysis, funnel analysis, or business reporting
- Ability to automate recurring reports

Internship Details
