Ownzap services offerings includes Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) across Web, Mobile, API, Network,

Cloud, and Infrastructure environments, along with Advanced Red Teaming and Cybersecurity Audits, DPDP Services, AI

Infused Security Assessments designed to identify real-world security risks and evaluate organizational resilience. We also provide compliance and advisory services aligned with RBI, SEBI, UIDAI, IRDAI, ISO 27001 and other applicable regulatory requirements.

Role Description This is a full-time Cybersecurity Business Development role based in Bengaluru with a hybrid work model, allowing a mix of in office and work-from-home arrangements. The role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities in cybersecurity services, including application security, network security, and vulnerability assessment and penetration testing offerings. Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging with prospective clients, conducting discovery calls, preparing proposals,



and supporting contract negotiations in collaboration with technical and leadership teams.

The individual will work closely with cybersecurity experts to translate technical capabilities into clear business value, contribute to go-to-market strategies, and maintain a pipeline of leads using CRM tools. The role also includes attending industry events, nurturing long-term client relationships, and providing feedback to improve service offerings and market pos itioning.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Cybersecurity and Information Security, with an understanding of current threats, frameworks, and compliance considerations.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in technology or security services, including lead generation and pipeline management.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex security topics in clear business terms.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Bengaluru, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage time and priorities effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CEH, or sales certifications) are an advantage.
