About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Expert to join our team on an hourly contract basis. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting advanced AI research and evaluation projects related to cybersecurity.

Your expertise will be critical in developing realistic enterprise cybersecurity scenarios, creating reference outputs, and building comprehensive evaluation frameworks that mirror real-world security operations. This position offers the flexibility of work from home and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of cybersecurity research and innovation. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of security engineering, incident response, and risk management, along with a passion for advancing cybersecurity standards and practices.





Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess over five years of professional experience in cybersecurity roles such as Security Engineer, CISO, or Security Lead. You should have a proven track record of managing incident response, security architecture, or compliance initiatives within complex organizational environments.

A strong understanding of security operations, cybersecurity tooling, risk management, and current threat landscapes is essential. Familiarity with established frameworks such as NIST CSF, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or EU NIS2 is required. Excellent analytical capabilities, technical proficiency, and strong written communication skills are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

- Develop detailed cybersecurity scenarios that encompass SOC monitoring, incident response, digital forensics, vulnerability management, and security architecture.
- Create specific tasks and simulations across threat detection, penetration testing, security engineering, and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC).
- Design and implement scenarios utilizing industry-standard tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Tenable, Qualys, and enterprise GRC platforms.
- Apply threat modeling, incident response, and risk assessment methodologies to craft realistic and challenging scenarios.




- Produce comprehensive reference incident reports, security assessments, architecture designs, and compliance documentation to serve as benchmarks for evaluation.
- Develop evaluation rubrics that effectively differentiate authentic enterprise security judgment from generic or textbook knowledge, ensuring high standards of assessment accuracy.
