About the role

Kalawati Steels has sold steel and building material in Varanasi for over 35 years. Every enquiry at our Bachhaon branch, from the counter, the phone or a site visit, lands with you and does not get lost. You turn it into a quotation, chase it to an order or a clear no, and call the customer after delivery to find out if we did well. You are the memory of the branch.

Work location: Kalawati Steels, Bachhaon, Varanasi. Interview at Head Office, Varanasi.

Full time, permanent, in office, 6 days a week.

What you will do

Quotations

1. Same-day quotations from the approved rate list for every enquiry.
2. Maintain a quotation register with validity dates and follow up before every quotation expires.
3. Track quote to order conversion and record the reason for every loss.

Project calling
1. Call contractors, builders, engineers and architects in the Bachhaon area to find upcoming projects.
2. Keep a live pipeline: site, stage, expected tonnage, decision maker, current supplier, next action date.
3. Book site meetings for the sales executive and supervisor and make sure they happen.





CRM discipline
1. Log every customer, enquiry, call and meeting the same day with a next action date.
2. Produce a daily due-today list. Keep customer data clean: names, numbers, GSTIN, site addresses.

Feedback
1. Call every customer after delivery: weight, quality, driver, timing, rate.
2. Log bad feedback honestly and route complaints to the supervisor the same day.
3. Call dormant customers and find out why they stopped buying.

Who we want
1. Graduate. 1 to 4 years in calling, inside sales, CRM or customer support. Freshers with clear speech are welcome.
2. Comfortable making 40 to 60 outbound calls a day.
3. Transparent written Hindi and English.
4. Basic Excel. Reports to Bachhaon daily.

Not for you if You are uncomfortable on the phone all day, or you treat follow-up as optional.
