Company Description GRG Cotspin Limited operates a modern yarn manufacturing facility with a total capacity of 16,109 MTPA. The project includes 24 ring frames with 34,560 spindles, supported by advanced TFO twisting machines and a comprehensive range of preparatory equipment. These facilities cover blow room lines, blend mats, cards, breaker and finisher draw frames, combers, unilap, and speed frames, enabling efficient and high-quality production.

The company produces both carded and combed yarn, offering a diverse product range to meet varied customer requirements. This scale and level of automation provide a structured, process-driven environment for professionals in cotton purchasing and supply chain management.

Role Description This is a full time, on-site Cotton Purchase role based in Ranchi. The role involves managing end-to-end cotton procurement, including identifying suppliers, negotiating prices and contracts, and ensuring timely delivery aligned with production schedules.

The Cotton

Purchase professional will monitor market trends, quality grades, and seasonal availability to optimize purchasing decisions and maintain adequate inventory levels. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with production, quality, and finance teams, maintaining accurate purchase records,



and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. The role also requires regular assessment of supplier performance, risk management in sourcing, and contributing to cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in raw material or cotton purchasing, vendor management, and supply chain coordination.
- Strong skills in negotiation, cost analysis, and contract management to secure favorable terms while maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to assess cotton quality parameters, understand yarn manufacturing requirements, and align procurement with production needs.
- Proficiency in using ERP or inventory management systems, along with solid skills in data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of commodity markets, basic finance related to purchasing, and risk management in sourcing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, commerce, textiles, or a related field; experience in the textile or spinning industry is an advantage.
- Capability to work on-site in Ranchi, manage multiple priorities, and make data-informed decisions under time constraints.
