Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Costing Specialist / Head / Team Lead to join our manufacturing team. The incumbent will be responsible for product costing, variance analysis, inventory valuation, profitability analysis, MIS reporting, and supporting business decisions through actionable cost insights. The role requires close interaction with Production, Procurement, Sales, and Finance teams to improve cost efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain detailed product cost sheets covering material, labor, and overhead costs.

- Perform variance analysis between customer costing and actual manufacturing costs.

- Analyze material consumption, labor efficiency, and overhead variances.

- Monitor standard costing versus actual costing and maintain cost masters.





- Support pricing decisions through profitability and margin analysis.

- Assist budgeting and forecasting activities by providing cost-related inputs.

- Review BOMs and routing structures to ensure costing accuracy.

- Responsible for inventory valuation and inventory reconciliation.

- Analyze Purchase Price Variance (PPV) with Procurement teams.

- Prepare MIS reports, management dashboards, and cost analysis reports.

- Recommend cost optimization and process improvement initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.
