Position: Production Helper cum Bandsaw Operator

Job Purpose To support production activities by assisting in material handling and shop-floor operations and safely operating the Bandsaw machine for cutting materials as per required dimensions, quality standards, and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Bandsaw Machine Operation

- Operate the Bandsaw machine safely and efficiently as per work instructions.
- Check work orders, drawings, dimensions, and cutting requirements before starting the job.
- Properly load, position, align, and clamp material before cutting.
- Ensure accurate cutting as per specified dimensions.
- Check cut dimensions using appropriate measuring instruments.
- Monitor blade condition and report blade wear, damage, or machine abnormalities.
- Perform basic machine cleaning and routine checks as instructed.

Production & Material Handling

- Assist in loading, unloading, shifting, and arranging raw materials and finished components.
- Support material feeding and collection during production operations.
- Ensure proper identification and segregation of raw material, finished goods, and scrap.
- Assist production operators and the supervisor in achieving daily production targets.
- Maintain smooth material flow within the assigned production area.

Quality & Safety

- Follow production specifications, quality requirements, and standard operating procedures.
- Report quality issues, incorrect dimensions, material defects, or machine abnormalities to the supervisor.




- Follow all safety procedures and use the required PPE at all times.
- Maintain proper housekeeping around the machine and assigned work area.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions or incidents to the supervisor.

General Responsibilities

- Follow instructions given by the Production Supervisor / Line In-charge.
- Maintain discipline, attendance, and punctuality.
- Maintain production and inspection records where required.
- Support other production activities as assigned by the supervisor.
- Work effectively as part of the production team.

Qualification
- Minimum 10th standard preferred.
- ITI / technical qualification will be an added advantage.

Experience
- Experience in manufacturing / production activities preferred.
- Experience operating Bandsaw or similar cutting machines will be an advantage.
- Freshers may also be considered based on skill and suitability.

- Basic knowledge of machine operation and shop-floor practices.
- Basic knowledge of measurements and dimensions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
