Shyam Ji Engineering Works is looking for an experienced CNC VMC Programmer Cum Operator with hands-on experience in plastic injection mould manufacturing and precision machining.

The candidate will be responsible for CNC VMC programming, machine setting, tool selection, operation, machining, inspection, and basic troubleshooting of mould components. The candidate should be capable of independently handling machining work as per 2D drawings and 3D models, while maintaining required dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish.

Key Responsibilities

- Program and operate CNC VMC machines for mould component manufacturing.
- Read and understand 2D engineering drawings and 3D mould models.
- Prepare machining programs for core, cavity, inserts, electrodes, sliders, lifters, and mould plates.
- Perform roughing, semi-finishing, and finishing operations.
- Select appropriate cutting tools and machining parameters.
- Set tools, workpieces, tool offsets, and work offsets.
- Make necessary program and offset corrections during machining.
- Ensure accurate dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish.
- Inspect finished components using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Maintain proper machining allowances for subsequent processes such as EDM, grinding, polishing, and fitting.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic programming, tooling, and machining problems.
- Coordinate with the Tool Room, Design, EDM, Fitting, and Quality teams.




- Complete assigned mould components within the given production schedule.
- Maintain CNC machines, tools, and workplace properly.
- Follow company safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures.

Required Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in CNC VMC programming and operation.
- Practical experience in plastic injection mould manufacturing will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of G-Code and M-Code.
- Knowledge of 2D and 3D machining.
- Ability to read engineering and mould drawings.
- Knowledge of cutting tools and machining parameters.
- Knowledge of tool and work offsets.
- Understanding of tolerances and basic GD&T.;
- Good knowledge of precision machining and measurement instruments.
- Ability to independently handle CNC VMC programming and operation.
- Experience with PowerMill, Mastercam, Siemens NX/NX CAM, or similar CAM software will be an advantage.

Mould Manufacturing Experience Preferred Candidates with experience in machining:
- Core & Cavity

- Shut-off areas
- Runner and gate areas
- Other precision mould components

will be preferred. Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
