Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining. The candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines, maintaining quality standards, achieving production targets, and following safety and process requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate CNC machines as per production plans, drawings and work instructions.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform machine setting, tool offset correction and basic parameter adjustments.
- Load/unload components and ensure proper clamping and work holding.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge and Height Gauge.
- Inspect components during production and maintain required dimensional accuracy.
- Identify tool wear, machine abnormalities and quality issues and report them to the supervisor.
- Maintain production records, inspection records and shift-wise documentation.
- Follow 5S, safety procedures, quality standards and work instructions.
- Minimize rejection, rework, machine downtime and material wastage.




- Coordinate with Production, Quality and Maintenance teams for smooth production.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic housekeeping around the machine.

Required Skills
- 2–3 years of relevant CNC machine operating experience.
- Knowledge of CNC turning/machining operations.
- Basic knowledge of G-code/M-code and CNC programs.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of GD&T; and dimensional inspection will be preferred.
- Hands-on experience with measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, tool offsets and tool wear.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
- Good discipline, attendance and willingness to learn.

Qualification ITI / Diploma – Mechanical / Production / Machining / related technical trade.

Preferred Experience

Experience in precision engineering, aerospace, defence, automotive, Oil & Gas or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.
