- Evaluate the safety, efficacy, and appropriate use of medicines.
- Monitor patients for adverse drug reactions (ADRs) and drug-related problems.
- Assess drug–drug, drug–food, and drug–disease interactions.
- Provide recommendations on drug selection, dosage, administration, and monitoring.
- Support physicians and other healthcare professionals in rational and evidence-based medication use.
- Participate in clinical trials, including study design, protocol development, patient safety monitoring, and evaluation of clinical data.
- Review and interpret pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data.
- Assist with therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) where appropriate.
- Contribute to pharmacovigilance activities, including detection, assessment, and reporting of adverse drug reactions.
- Prepare and review clinical and scientific documents, such as protocols, reports, literature reviews, and medication-related guidelines.




- Conduct or support clinical and laboratory research related to medicines.
- Provide education and training to doctors, pharmacists, nurses, students, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain knowledge of current clinical guidelines, drug safety information, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote patient safety and rational prescribing.
- MD/DNB in Clinical Pharmacology
- PhD in Pharmacology/Clinical Pharmacology
- M.Pharm/Pharm.D with relevant clinical or research experience
- MBBS or another medical qualification with specialization/training in clinical pharmacology
