Chef – Café / Restaurant

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef who can prepare delicious, consistent and commercially viable food for our upcoming café.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare high-quality food with excellent taste, presentation and consistency.
- Develop and execute a menu suitable for a modern café.
- Create recent dishes and suggest NPD (New Product Development) ideas.
- Maintain food quality, hygiene and kitchen standards.
- Manage food preparation, portion control and wastage.
- Ensure proper inventory and ingredient usage.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff.
- Maintain consistency in taste and plating during high-volume operations.
- Work with management to develop cost-effective recipes and food costing.

Requirements

- 2–5 years of experience as a Chef/Cook in a café, restaurant,



QSR or similar setup.
- Strong cooking skills with a proven ability to make tasty food.
- Good understanding of food preparation, hygiene and kitchen operations.
- Ability to develop and execute new recipes.
- Creativity, speed and attention to detail.
- Practical cooking test will be conducted during the selection process.

Preferred Experience in café food, Continental, Italian, Asian, Indian or fusion cuisine will be an advantage.

Salary: ₹15,000 - ₹25,000per month, depending on experience and skills.
