Role Description This is a full-time, in office Chartered Accountant role based in Agra.

The Chartered

Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining ledgers, preparing financial statements, and managing accounts payable and receivable.

Responsibilities include monitoring inventory-related finances, reconciling bank statements, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and preparing GST and other statutory returns. The role involves budgeting, financial analysis, and cash flow management to support retail operations and expansion plans.

The Chartered

Accountant will also coordinate with management, auditors, and external consultants,



provide financial insights for decision-making, and help implement internal controls and process improvements.

Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant qualification (CA) from a recognized institute; strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in general accounting, ledger management, and preparation of balance sheet, profit & loss, and cash flow statements.
- Experience with taxation, including income tax, GST, and other statutory compliances relevant to retail and trading businesses.
- Skills in budgeting, financial planning, variance analysis, and cost control to support business growth.
- Ability to use accounting and ERP software, Excel, and related tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with a focus on accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with management, auditors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Prior experience in retail, wholesale, or trading environments is an advantage.
