nPosition Summary

nWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst / Accountant to support the financial operations of a casino and hospitality business. The role will be responsible for financial reporting, accounting support, reconciliations, budgeting, cost analysis, and preparation of management reports across multiple business verticals, including gaming, F&B;, hotel, entertainment, and support functions .

nThe ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting and finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to ensure accurate and timely financial information for management decision-making.

nKey Responsibilities

nFinancial Reporting & MIS

n

n
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and MIS reports for management.
n
- Prepare revenue, expense, profitability, and departmental performance reports.
n
- Consolidate financial information from multiple operational and accounting systems into accurate management reports.
n
- Assist in preparing management presentations, financial summaries, and board reports.
n
- Ensure all financial reports are completed accurately and submitted within established deadlines.
n

nAccounting & Financial Control

n

n
- Support day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and general ledger review.
n
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
n
- Perform bank, cash, revenue, and balance sheet reconciliations.
n
- Review financial transactions and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
n
- Assist in maintaining accurate accounting records and proper financial documentation.
n
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and outstanding issues.
n

nRevenue Reconciliation & Analysis

n

n
- Reconcile revenue reported through casino operational systems with accounting and financial records.
n
- Monitor and analyze gaming and non-gaming revenue streams.
n
- Support the reconciliation of revenue from gaming, F&B;, hotel, entertainment, and other business activities.
n
- Investigate revenue variances and discrepancies and provide appropriate explanations.
n
- Prepare periodic revenue and profitability analysis for management review.
n

nExpense & Cost Analysis

n

- Monitor operating expenses and departmental costs.
n
- Perform variance analysis between actual results, budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
n
- Support cost center reporting and identify unusual expenses or potential cost-saving opportunities.
n
- Analyze key expense categories, including payroll, marketing, F&B; costs, utilities, maintenance, promotions, and operational expenses.
n
- Assist management in monitoring departmental budgets and financial performance.
n

nBudgeting & Forecasting

n

- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
n
- Collect and consolidate financial data from various departments for budgeting purposes.
n
- Support financial planning through analysis of historical trends and operational performance.
n
- Prepare financial models and scenario analysis to support management decisions and business initiatives.
n

nAccounts Payable & Receivable Support

n

- Assist with the review and processing of vendor invoices and payments.
n
- Support vendor account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
n
- Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate with relevant departments for follow-up.
n
- Ensure appropriate documentation and approvals are maintained for financial transactions.
n

nAudit, Compliance & Internal Controls

n

- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents.
n
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
n
- Maintain confidentiality and proper control of sensitive financial information.
n
- Assist in strengthening internal controls and identifying opportunities to improve financial processes.
n

nBusiness & Financial Analysis

n

- Analyze financial and operational data and translate findings into meaningful insights.
n
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities that may impact business performance.
n
- Support profitability analysis by department, business vertical, and revenue stream.
n
- Work closely with operations, gaming, F&B;,



hotel, and other departments to understand financial performance and key business drivers.

nQualifications & Experience

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field .
n
- CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA, MBA (Finance) or other professional qualifications will be an advantage.
n
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial analysis, MIS, or finance operations.
n
- Experience in the casino, gaming, hospitality, hotel, entertainment, or multi-business environment will be preferred.
n
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and budgeting.
n

nTechnical Skills

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including Pivot Tables, lookup functions, complex formulas, and financial analysis.
n
- Knowledge of accounting and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar platforms .
n
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting and visualization tools will be an advantage.
n
- Knowledge of SQL or data analysis tools is preferred but not mandatory.
n
- Strong PowerPoint skills for preparing management and financial presentations.
