Role Description

We are seeking an experienced CFD Engineer to execute computational fluid dynamics simulations supporting HVAC design, smoke control and fire life safety systems, data center thermal management, stadium cooling, outdoor thermal comfort, and large-scale environmental cooling studies. The ideal candidate will combine strong fluid dynamics and heat transfer fundamentals with hands-on CFD modeling expertise to deliver design validation, code-compliance analysis, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, run, and post-process CFD simulations for HVAC air distribution, ventilation effectiveness, and thermal comfort studies in commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.
- Perform smoke control and smoke management analysis (atria, tunnels, car parks, high-rise buildings) in accordance with NFPA 92, BS 7346, and local fire/life safety codes.
- Conduct data center thermal and airflow studies, including hot/cold aisle containment, CRAC/CRAH optimization, and rack-level heat load analysis.
- Model and analyze stadium and large-venue cooling systems, including spot cooling, misting, and evaporative cooling strategies for spectator thermal comfort.
- Perform outdoor thermal comfort.




- Set up and validate CFD models using tools such as ANSYS Fluent, ANSYS CFX, or OpenFOAM.
- Interpret simulation results and translate findings into actionable design recommendations, technical reports, and client presentations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial & Production Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on CFD experience, with a solid focus on HVAC, building services, or industrial airflow applications.
- Demonstrated experience in at least two of the following: smoke control modeling, data center thermal analysis, stadium/large-venue cooling, or outdoor thermal comfort studies.
- Proficiency in one or more CFD platforms: ANSYS Fluent/CFX,or OpenFOAM.
- Solid understanding of turbulence modeling, buoyancy-driven flows, radiation heat transfer, and multiphase/species transport as applicable.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards: NFPA 92, ASHRAE 90.1/55/62.1, BS 7346, TIA-942, and local fire and building codes.
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills, with the ability to present complex technical findings clearly to non-specialist stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit) for geometry preparation is a plus.

Pay: ₹673,366.20 - ₹964,026.08 per year
