Senior CFD Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE In this role you will be responsible for developing and implementing fluid dynamics simulations to support design and analysis efforts across various projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create innovative and effective solutions. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a rapid-paced environment and enjoys tackling complex engineering challenges.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Knowledge of automotive and exhaust component
- Collects, Summarizes, Reports and draws Conclusions from Data/Statistics
- Assessment of workload and timing based on complexity and product knowledge
- Able to guide less senior engineers as mentors along with daily tasks
- Understanding in after-treatment system architecture and component / system interactions
- Demonstrated capability in project management skills
- Coordinates engineering projects / programs, Expert resource for other engineers




- Able to lead technical presentations and competitions
- Imposes timelines and project requirements
- Profound Knowledge of Fluid mechanics and specific fields (2-Phase Flow, Heat transfer, acoustics )

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience
- Knowledge of automotive business & exhaust system
- Strong in communication, Technical / Professional knowledge, planning and organizing, building relationships
- Understands the business impact of different solutions
- Knowledge of CFD software Star CCM+
- Knowledge of SCR system
- Innovation of sub-system analytical tools, processes and products
- Assessment of HW/SW and process relative to industry and competitive standards
- Proactive approach
