1. Job Summary The Centre Head will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the Calicut Centre, including admissions, sales, academic coordination, staff management, administration, student services, revenue generation, and day-to-day centre operations.
The role requires a strong combination of leadership, business development, people management, customer relationship management, and operational skills to ensure that the centre achieves its admission and revenue targets while maintaining high standards of student service and academic delivery.
2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Centre Operations
- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the Calicut Centre.
- Ensure smooth and professional functioning of all departments.
- Implement company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Monitor centre discipline, punctuality, attendance, cleanliness, and infrastructure.
- Ensure proper maintenance of centre records, registers, reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with Head Office and senior management regarding centre-related matters.
B. Admissions & Business Development
- Take overall responsibility for achieving monthly and annual admission targets.
- Monitor enquiries, leads, follow-ups, counselling, conversions, and admissions.
- Guide and monitor Counsellors, BDEs, Telecallers, and other admission team members.
- Develop local marketing and promotional activities to generate enquiries.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends in the Calicut area.
- Build relationships with schools, colleges, companies, agencies, and other potential referral partners.
- Review daily and monthly admission performance and take corrective action where required.
C. Revenue & Financial Performance
- Monitor centre revenue and collection performance.
- Ensure timely fee collection and proper follow-up of outstanding payments.
- Monitor centre expenses and ensure effective utilisation of resources.
- Prepare and submit revenue, admission, collection, and expense reports to management.
- Work towards achieving the centre's profitability and business objectives.
D. Staff Management
- Lead, supervise,
and motivate the entire Calicut Centre team.
- Monitor staff performance against assigned KPIs and targets.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
- Identify training and development requirements of employees.
- Maintain discipline and professional conduct among staff.
- Coordinate with HR regarding recruitment, attendance, leave, performance issues, and employee-related matters.
- Ensure proper allocation of duties and responsibilities among team members.
E. Academic Coordination
- Coordinate with the Academic Head and faculty regarding class schedules and academic activities.
- Monitor faculty attendance, student attendance, timetable, and academic discipline.
- Ensure students receive proper academic support and guidance.
- Address student and parent concerns in coordination with the Academic Department.
- Monitor student feedback and take appropriate corrective action.
F. Student & Parent Relationship Management
- Maintain strong professional relationships with students and parents.
- Handle escalated student/parent complaints and concerns.
- Ensure timely resolution of service-related issues.
- Monitor student satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure proper follow-up of dropouts, transfers, refunds, and other student-related matters as per company policy.
G. Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly centre performance reports.
- Monitor key performance indicators including:
- Enquiries
- Counselling
- Admissions
- Conversion ratio
- Revenue
- Fee collection
- Dropouts
- Staff performance
- Student strength
- Student satisfaction
- Present centre performance and action plans to senior management.
H. Compliance & Administration
- Ensure compliance with company policies and management instructions.
- Maintain proper documentation and records.
- Ensure the centre is maintained in a professional, safe, and customer-friendly condition.
- Coordinate with HR, Accounts, Academic, Marketing,
and other departments whenever required.
- Ensure all management instructions are implemented within the centre.
1. Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Aviation, Hospitality, Education, or a related field.
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
1. Experience
- Minimum 8 + years of relevant experience, preferably in:
- Education / Training
- Aviation / Hospitality
- Sales & Business Development
- Customer Service
- Branch / Centre Management
- Previous experience as Centre Head, Branch Manager, Sales Manager, Operations Manager, Admissions Manager, or similar leadership position will be preferred.
- Experience in handling admission targets and a sales-oriented team will be an advantage.
