Role Description The Carrier Sales role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. This role is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with trucking carriers and owner-operators, securing capacity for customer freight, and negotiating rates that align with market conditions and company goals. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting new carrier partners, managing existing carrier accounts, coordinating load details, and ensuring timely pick-up and delivery.

The Carrier Sales professional will handle regular communication with carriers, resolve service issues, and collaborate with internal teams to meet customer requirements and performance targets. The role requires consistent follow-up,



accurate documentation of load and carrier information, and proactive problem-solving to support smooth freight operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Freight Brokerage and a solid understanding of trucking operations and freight markets.
- Candidates should possess robust Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with carriers and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service abilities to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and support carrier satisfaction.
- Candidates should possess Account Management capabilities to nurture carrier relationships and manage ongoing capacity needs.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills, including negotiation, lead follow-up, and closing carrier opportunities.
- Relevant experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple loads, and make data-informed decisions.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, transportation management systems (TMS), and standard office software.
- Preferred qualification: diploma or degree in business, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
