Care Manager
About Hoola Health
Parenting comes with questions, chaos, joy, and more than a few sleepless nights — and through it all, what every parent needs is a support system that just gets it.
Hoola health (formerly babymd) was created to be exactly that.
Our founder, Deeksha Senguttuvan, spent years working in healthcare and technology, but it was her close interactions with parents that revealed the real gap in paediatric care. Families were either navigating large hospitals with long waits and little personal connection, or relying on scattered, inconsistent care. There had to be a better way.
so in 2024, we began with one clinic and a simple mission: to make paediatric care feel closer, calmer, and kinder.
Today, hoola health is a growing network of neighbourhood clinics offering everything from consultations and vaccinations to developmental assessments and therapy services — all under one roof. We're proud to be open 7 days a week, backed by a team that listens first, treats with heart, and partners with parents every step of the way.
The role
As a Care Manager, you are each family's trusted guide and main point of contact. You make sure parents feel heard, supported and never alone, and you connect them with the right expert at the right time. With training from our experts, you'll calmly handle the common worries of the early months yourself, and know exactly when to bring in a specialist. You don't diagnose or prescribe; you listen, reassure, guide and make every interaction feel personal and premium.
Key responsibilities
- Onboard new families: call every parent on the day they join, walk them through the program and set clear expectations
- Be their go-to support: answer questions over WhatsApp and calls with warmth,
accuracy and quick turnaround
- Handle panic moments calmly: respond to basic, common worries in the early months (feeding, crying, sleep, minor health concerns) using Hoola's training and guidelines, reassure parents, and escalate anything beyond that right away
- Connect parents with experts: book and coordinate sessions with nutritionists, lactation and sleep consultants, paediatricians and development experts, and follow up afterwards
- Personalise the program: gather parent needs and work with experts to customise diet and activity plans
- Weekly check-ins: reach out to every family each week, encourage use of sessions and resources, and spot anyone who needs extra care
- Monthly development reviews: collect milestone and diet data, review each report, and walk parents through it
- Escalate with judgement: recognise signs that need an expert's attention and escalate promptly
- Keep records accurate: update family details, notes and plan changes in our systems
- Improve the experience: share parent feedback and ideas to make the program better
